This carburetor device is provided with a carburetor 1 for supplying a fuel-air mixture to the internal combustion engine. A power control throttle valve 3 and a start valve 4 disposed upstream of the throttle valve 3, are provided in an intake passage 2 of the carburetor 1, and a start lever 6 acting on the start valve 4 is provided for operating the carburetor 1 in a starting stage. The start lever 6 is position-adjustable into an operating direction 7 and a lock release direction 8 independent of the operating direction 7. The start lever 6 is locked in a stationary position with respect to the operating direction 7, and after position-adjusted into the lock release direction 8 from the stationary position, the start lever 6 is released from lock so as to be position-adjustable in the operating direction 7.
