To cope with an mounting environment of a carburetor only by assembly of a throttle valve, without producing the carburetor on a case-by-case basis depending on space in which an interlocking mechanism of the carburetor for various types of throttle levers or air valves can be installed.
Pairs of mounting faces 31A, 31B, 32A, 32B, 33A, 33B, 34C are disposed on side faces of a carburetor main body 1 to have mutually different phases. The mounting faces 31A, 31B, 32A, 32B, 33A, 33B, 34C are respectively perpendicular to axises 31, 32, 33, 34 orthogonal to a center line of an air-fuel passage 2 and extending in a radial direction, and the mounting faces 31A, 32A, 33A, 34C are respectively in parallel with the mounting faces 31B, 32B, 33B, 34C to sandwich the air-fuel passage 2 therebetween. In the mounting faces, bearing holes are processed on the axes 31, 32, 33, 34 into which a throttle valve shaft 8 is inserted and installed.
