Title:
CARBURETOR FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE IN PORTABLE WORKING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3880650
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve startability of an engine by providing a by-pass channel for supplying the added quantity of a mixture detouring a throttle valve when starting, with means for separately impeding air supply and fuel supply so as to simultaneously impede both supplies before mixing fuel and air.
SOLUTION: A hole part 14 is formed parallel with an intake channel 2 of a diaphragm type carburetor 1 and communicated with the intake channel 2 through transverse hole parts provided at the outlet side end and inlet side end of the intake channel 2 so as to act as a by-pass path detouring a throttle valve 5. When a rod 25 is pulled by an operating knob when starting an engine, a piston 26 slides against a spring 29 to open a fuel channel 20 and the hole part 14. After air sucked through the by-pass path is mixed with fuel coming out of the fuel channel 20, a mixture is supplied from the transverse hole to the intake channel 2 downstream of the throttle valve 5.
