Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor capable of shortening delay in change of an air-fuel ratio in switching an air passage, and having a high degree of freedom in setting a connection cross-sectional area and a switching characteristic of the air passage.SOLUTION: A carburetor 1 includes a first main air passage 14 for supplying air to a fuel passage 13 communicated to a venturi 4, an air passage shaft 21 disposed in the first main air passage 14 at an upstream side of an intake passage 13 to a throttle valve 5 disposed in an intake passage 3, as an opening/closing portion capable of taking an open position for opening the first main air passage 14 and a close position for closing the first main air passage 14, and a link mechanism 22 as a switching mechanism for switching connection and disconnection of the first main air passage 14 by driving the air passage shaft 21 to the open position or the close position according to engine load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
