PURPOSE: To prevent drivability from getting worse, by discharging gasoline in addition to alcohol or main fuel for the duration from engine starting to the completion of its warming up, and automatically selecting the rate of the main fuel to the gasoline by degress according to the warming up state.
CONSTITUTION: In case of a carburetor 10 using alcohol as the main fuel, there are provided with a main fuel passage 22 together with a gasoline receiver 38, a first gasoline passage 48 to be interconnected to this main fuel passage 22 in the midway and a second gasoline passage 50 to be opened to a suction passage 12. A solenoid 85 is installed in a starting gasoline passage 44 from the gasoline receiver 38, while a starting valve gear 52 is installed in a branch part between these passages 48 and 50, and furthermore there are provided with a suction-operated type accelerating pump 92, discharging gasoline to the suction passage from the gasoline receiver 38, and a temperature operating device 112 which opens or closes a suction pressure passage 102. And, at the time of warming up, the rate of the main fuel to gasoline is selected by degrees according to the warming-up state.
