PURPOSE: To provide a carburetor for small sized engine of which adaptability for tilting is excellent and constitution is simple.

CONSTITUTION: This carburetor is provided with a main nozzle boss 6 projecting from the underside of the body 2 of the carburetor into a fuel chamber 5 and a main jet 8 on the lower part of the main nozzle boss 6. The discharge port 12 of a fuel pump 11 which is driven to feed fuel to the fuel chamber during operation of an engine is connected to the fuel chamber under the oil level, a continuous porous body 27 forming the upper face 26 at a prescribed oil level height H is fitted into the fuel chamber without any clearance, and a return passage for returning fuel overflowing from the continuous porous body 27 to a fuel tank 18 is provided.
