To cope with a variety of engines with different positional relation between a mixture feeding port and a scavenging air feeding port.
An air passage 33 forming a part of an air passage 32 for scavenging air is formed in a carburetor body 22 in which an intake air line 24 having a part of a mixture passage 23 is formed parallel with the intake air passage 24 and with the tip thereof positioned on the base end side of the engine side tip face of the carburetor body 22 so that the freedom degree of the layout of a conduit 34 for connecting an air passage 33 to the scavenging air feeding port 9 can be increased. Also, a throttle valve 26 and a pneumatic valve 35 are formed in butterfly shapes, the valve stems thereof are disposed parallel with each other, and an interlocking mechanism for these valves is simplified.
