To provide a sealing bearing assembly for a butterfly control valve.
The sealing bearing assembly comprises bushings 62, 64 filled in the counterbores 56, 58 of a cylindrical holes 52 for receiving the rotary shaft of the control valve. The bushing are disposed radially and sealably between the rotary shaft 34 and the body of a modular assembly 37 as the bearing of the shaft 34 to prevent the leakage of the air. To prevent the air bypass leakage around the control valve 30 in an air channel 18, the bushings and the counterbores 56, 58 are extended through the body without being arranged in the channel 18, and the sealing surfaces 66, 68 of the cylinder for forming the part of the cylinder holes sealably engage the shaft 34 between the counterbores 56, 58 and the channel 18.
