Abstract:
To provide a carburetor provided with a valve element with low manufacturing cost and high reliability.
This carburetor 10 is provided with a carburetor main body 30 having a fuel/air mixing passage 18 through which air flows and fuel is fed to an engine, and the valve element 12 movable between first and second positions in the fuel/air mixing passage. The valve element is provided with a polymer made shaft 16 rotatable to the carburetor main body, a polymer made cam body 20 connected to the shaft and rotating with the shaft, and a valve head 14 communicated with the fuel/air mixing passage and supported by the shaft to rotate together with the shaft.
