Abstract:
To provide a carburetor free from occurrence of after-burn in stopping.SOLUTION: In a carburetor in which a main jet 3 disposed in a bottom portion of a float chamber 2 for storing a fuel 1, and a main nozzle 5 disposed in an intake passage 4 in which a butterfly-type throttle valve is disposed, are connected by a fuel passage 9, a mixture of the air from an air jet 8 connected to an air bleeding chamber 7 and the fuel 1 from the fuel passage 9, is sucked out to the intake air flowing to the intake passage 4 from the main nozzle 5 through the main passage 9, and the fuel of a prescribed ratio is atomized to be sucked to an engine, the air jet 8 is added to the main passage 9, a second air jet 14 is connected through a sub-passage 13, and the sub-passage 15 is provided with an opening/closing device 16 closed when an ignition switch 12 of the engine is ON, and opened when the ignition switch 12 is OFF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
