Abstract:
To provide a card conveyance unit that increases a degree of freedom in selecting a non-contact card reader 8 and reduces an adverse effect on reading magnetic information from a card by a non-contact communication antenna.SOLUTION: A card issuing device 1 includes a card conveyance part 5 that conveys cards 2 drawn out one by one from a card housing part 4 to a card processing part 3. The card conveyance part 5 includes a non-contact card reader 8, and the non-contact card reader 8 contains a non-contact communication antenna 81 held at a position facing a carriage conveyance path 33 by a bracket 39. Since the non-contact communication antenna 81 is placed on a side opposite to the card 2 with respect to a motor 60 mounted on a carriage 34, an adverse effect can be avoided on reading magnetic information due to the motor 60, which is a large metal component, being placed near the non-contact communication antenna 81.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
