This card dispensing apparatus is devised to deliver the cards one by one in the prescribed direction by reserving the cards in a columnar shape by pressing surfaces of the cards on a base arranged in a fixed state and moving a transfer body to make contact with the card surfaces through an opening of the base in the prescribed direction. The transfer body has a flat surface type contact surface and is moved by a flat loop moving means, makes surface-contact with the card surfaces by proceeding to the opening at a prescribed proceeding position, thereafter, moves in a straight line in the prescribed direction while maintaining the contact state, thereafter, retreats from the opening at a retreating position and, thereafter, moves to the proceeding position while maintaining the state.
