This card dispensing device 1 includes the card storage part 3, a dispensing claw 25 for dispensing the card 2 stored in the card storage part 3 by abutting on the rear end of the card 2, a chain 26 for fixing the dispensing claw 25, a dispensing roller 21 for further dispensing the card 2 sent out by the dispensing claw 25, a motor 23 for driving the chain 26 and the dispensing roller 21 together, a rear detecting part 9 for detecting that dispensing of the card 2 is completed, and a control unit for controlling the motor 23. The control unit sends out the card 2 outside the card storage part 3 by normally rotating the motor 23, and moves the dispensing claw 25 in the inverse direction of the dispensing direction of the card 2 by reversely rotating the motor 23 based on the detection result of the rear detecting part 9.
