Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card handling device which prevents a swindle of a card by executing such an error processing as prohibiting insertion of the card on the occasion when a stopper is broken down.
SOLUTION: When breakdown of a wall 6 positioned in the depth of an insertion path is detected, the card handling device 1 drives a shutter 11 to block an opening for insertion. Thereby the card 10 can be prevented surely from being swindled when the card 10, which is inserted from the opening for insertion without awareness of the breakdown of the wall 6, is pushed in till a part thereof comes to a state of not being exposed at a recess portion 13 and when it becomes impossible to take out the card 10 and the card is left unattended while a clerk in charge is called out.
