To provide a card issuing apparatus that can deliver cards safely and reliably by reducing frictional resistance to the lowermost card and suppressing slippage of rubber rollers in a simple structure.

The card issuing apparatus comprises a stock unit 10 having an outlet in a front face where gate shafts 16A and 16B are arranged parallel at upper and lower ends, and a withdrawal part 20. The stock unit 10 comprises feed rollers 5A and 5B and a card support plate 7, and stores a plurality of cards. The feed rollers 5A and 5B project above a feed panel 4 at part of the periphery. The card support plate 7 is inclined up against a back face to support trailing ends of the cards C1 and C2. The point of contact between the card C1 and the card support plate 7, the points of contact between the card C1 and the feed rollers 5A and 5B, and a gate part 6 are substantially aligned. A shaft pin 52 and a pulley pin 53 operationally couple or decouple the feed rollers 5A and 5B to or from a motor.
