PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card issuing device which easily performs attitude control of a card for performing normal writing and performs normal writing of information, even if the direction of setting the card in the card supply section is incorrect, in issuing of cards that write information to magnetic cards or IC cards.SOLUTION: A card issuing device comprises a card supply unit, a card front-to-back reversing machine, a recording device, a card left-right reversing machine, and a control unit for controlling the transport of the card, checking the recording operation, and performing a front-to-back movement of the card and a card left-right reversing operation if the recording operation is defective.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
