Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the reading error of a bar code in a card when issuing the card and to continuously give intrinsic serial numbers to the respective cards.
CONSTITUTION: When the serial number which is read out is matched with a serial number before recording after the serial number is recorded in the magnetic track of the card 1, the serial number is printed on a bar code data printing part 13 by a laser marking part 34. When the both serial numbers are not matched or when the card on which the number is printed is not normally discharged, the serial number next to the card on which the serial number is printed and which is normally discharged is printed on a transported card. Consequently, it is not necessary to read out the bar code when issuing the card. Then, the reading error does not exist at all, and continuous serial numbers without a missing number can be given to the respective issued cards.
