Abstract:

To provide an information recording medium for use in a cash card or a credit card, an ID card, a member's card, a prepaid card, or the like, in which deformation of the card or deterioration of the material is prevented even when the card is used under a high temperatures, utilization of a vehicle mounted card which may possibly be used or stocked in a high temperature vehicle or a card being exposed possibly to high temperatures in a household electric appliance such as a computer, can be expected, and no hydrogen chloride gas is generated when a used card is disposed to be incinerated.

The basic body composing a part of the card is produced by applying a heat resistant layer employing a thermoplastic elastomer having a heat distortion temperature of 100°C or above as a main material to the opposite sides of a heat resistant core layer employing a polymer alloy of an amorphous polyester and a polycarbonate as main materials.
