PURPOSE: To hold a loaded card at a card housing part without fail, to easily eject the card and to identify the kind of the card as well by providing a stopper for locking the rear end part of the card, and a card ejecting mechanism for releasing the lock.

CONSTITUTION: When a card 9 is inserted to a housing part 8, a slider 14 is pushed and moved and when the card is loaded at a prescribed position while accumulating energizing force in the direction of pushing the card back, a stopper 12 provided on the entrance side locks the rear end part of the card so that the card can be held at the prescribed position surely even without providing a hole for positioning on the card. On the other hand, when the lock of the stopper is released by an operation from the outside, the energizing force of the slider pushes the card back to the entrance direction of the housing part, and the card can be easily loaded/unloaded. Further, by providing a marking detector, a marking for identification provided on the back of the card is detected to identify the card and therefore, it is not necessary to provide a notch for card identification on the card.
