PURPOSE: To write or read information to a card with a simple construction, by recording or reproducing information to a magnetic card through relative movement state between a magnetic head and a stage.
CONSTITUTION: A stage device 1 is provided for a device main body 2 freely drawably. A magnetic head 6 is provided in the device main body 2 at a position where a magnetic recording band 5a passes through for a magnetic card 5. The stage 1 is drawn out and the magnetic card 5 is clamped to a prescribed position and the stage 1 is pushed in the device main body 2, then the magnetic recording band 5a of the magnetic card 5 contact a magnetic head 6 and all the recording or reproduction is finished until the stage 1 reaches the most inner part.
