A card processing unit 5 is provided with: an antenna 8 for communication for performing communications with a non-contact IC card 2; two conveyor rollers 15 for contacting the front surface of the non-contact IC card 2 to convey the non-contact IC card 2; and a frame 19 having a conveyance path 23 to convey the non-contact IC card 2. Each of the two conveyor rollers 15 is rotationally supported on both the end sides of the frame 19 in the conveying direction of the non-contact IC card 2. The two conveyor rollers 15 are arranged so that their inter-center distance is made shorter than the length of the non-contact IC card 2 in the conveying direction.
