Abstract:
To provide a card processor which can properly issue a card when a purchase operation is made.
The card processor has a stocking portion 41 to store cards 61, a transfer means 42 to transfer the cards, a card accessing portion 43 to write information to the cards, and advances the cards to an access position just beneath the card accessing portion from the stocking portion 41 in preparation for issuance of subsequent cards, inspects a data writing action and then makes the cards wait. Since the card processor can detect and address a delivery abnormality to the access position or action failure of cards prior to the purchase operation, cards are smoothly issued when a purchase operation is made.
