Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card for the radio data communication, capable of reduc ing an area of a part for mounting an antenna and capable of achieving a low-profile style as the card for the radio data communication for a notebook- sized PC (personal computer) and a PDA (personal digital assistant).
SOLUTION: A card for radio data communication, which achieves radio communication function and mounts an antenna 20 on a substrate 10 is disclosed. The antenna 20 comprises an antenna element 21 placed on a side plane part of a projection part 100 of the card, and a feed terminal 22 and a grounding terminal 23 placed on a planar part of the antenna element 21. The feed terminal 22 is coupled to an RF (radio frequency) chip 11 mounted on the substrate 10.
