Abstract:
According to the present invention, a card feeding apparatus realizes random and selective feeding of different types and kinds of cards. The apparatus comprises a card supply device, a card holding and feeding device, and a controller. The card holding and feeding device includes: a table set having tables on which cards supplied from the card supply device are held; a table set support structure (for example, a frame); a table set moving device (for example, a lifting mechanism); and a card return device to return the cards hold on the tables. In response to a card feeding signal, the table set support structure uses the table set moving device to be temporarily stopped in order to place a target table appointed among the tables by the signal in a card return position, and the card holding and feeding device is activated, and thereby the card on the target table can be fed to the card return device.
