Abstract:
To provide a card sorter which can sort cards by selecting various sorting patterns in a high productivity without causing an inspection mistake.
This sorter comprises an image data reading means 9 which comprises a CCD camera for card image reading arranged between a card transport section 8 and a card send-off section 3 or below a card send-off section 3; a recorded data reading means 10 for reading recorded data of bar codes; pockets 4a-4h for sorting and storing cards with read data; a card transport section 8 for transporting cards to each of the pockets; and a card packet stacking means 24 for stacking card packets in the pockets to gather them together.
