Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured card storage device that stores cards fed thereto in a stack in the feed order.
SOLUTION: When a card 2 is fed in from a magnetic read/write unit 3, a card bearing surface 11 of a card storage part 10 is inclined to the feed direction of the card 2 and directed up at a slant. The card 2 fed toward the card storage part 10 is fed by card feeding means 90 that push it against the card bearing surface 11 or another card 2 and slide it into the card storage part. When a card 2 is fed out of the card storage part 10, the card bearing surface 11 is brought substantially parallel to the feed direction of the card 2, and the card 2 is fed out by a feeding rotary member 30 toward the magnetic read/write unit 3 without being bent.
