To provide a card type cutter that is light and small, whose blade does not expose, and that is portable, wherein paper can be cut without using a table and a ruler accurately and straightly, and a part of a paper in which two or more pictures are printed can be easily clipped therefrom.

A portable cutter includes: a lower plate; an upper plate; a bridge part that couples the upper and lower plates to each other at an interval, at one ends of both upper and lower plates; a guide member that is provided to the interval portion to enable sliding movement; and a blade that is provided at one end side of the interval portion of both the plates.
