To provide a card-type electronic equipment where a metal cover and a frame are firmly joined together, and the metal cover can be easily dismounted if necessary.

A card-type electronic equipment is equipped with a case 4 composed of a frame 5, and two metal covers 6 and 7 which cover the upper and lower side of the frame 5 to form a housing inside for component elements. Tongues 10 are each provided to the metal covers 6 and 7 protruding from the side edges of their long sides, and the tips of the tongues 10 are each bent toward the other covers respectively. Furthermore, the tips are bent inwards, and nearly U-shaped engaging pieces 11 are formed. Recesses 19a and 19b that guide the engaging pieces 11 in a vertical direction and engaging parts 20a and 20b which are engaged with the engaging pieces 11 when the engaging pieces 11 fitted in the recesses 19a and 19b slide in the lengthwise direction of the case 4 are formed on the side face of the frame 5.
