Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength of a sofa-shaped cardboard chair, and to improve a sitting feeling.SOLUTION: In a chair comprising a cardboard structure 1 having a stool part 3 and a backrest part 4, a pair of side face materials 11, a plurality of longitudinal support materials 12, and a plurality of horizontal materials 13 are used as constituent members, respective parts around the side face material 11 are formed with bend pieces 15, the longitudinal support materials 12 are raised in parallel, the horizontal materials 13 are bent and bridged over the longitudinal support materials 12, cuts formed in the longitudinal support materials 12 and the end edges of the horizontal materials 13 are engaged to form a framework 5, the pair of side face materials 11 are extended along both sides of the framework 5, the bend pieces 15 are bent such that the bend pieces 15 are involved, insertion parts 15a on the tip side of the bend pieces 15 are inserted in slits 19 formed close to the side ends of the horizontal material 13, and the framework 5 is accommodated by the pair of side face materials 11. A cardboard chair has a strong structure wholly closed in a box shape, and displacement of cushion materials 6 interposed between the cardboard chair and a cover 2 can be prevented by the bend pieces 15 of the pair of side face materials 11.
