Abstract:
To provide a system for supporting people in need of nursing care and a supporting method for supporting people in need of nursing care, with which their psychobehavioral conditions can be properly improved.SOLUTION: A system for supporting people in need of nursing care includes: stimulus information storing means which stores stimulus information about stimuli to at least one of five senses of a person in need of nursing care; stimulus information providing means which provides the stored stimulus information to the person in need of nursing care; and reaction detection means which detects reactions of the person in need of nursing care to stimuli from the stimulus information provided by the stimulus information providing means, and carries out: a first step in which first stimulus information to relieve mental tension of the person in need of nursing care, which is stored in the stimulus information storing means, is provided; a second step in which random second stimulus information, which is stored in the stimulus information storing means, extracted on the basis of attributes of the person in need of nursing care is provided and an attribute of second stimulus information to which the person in need of nursing care has reacted, of all pieces of the random second stimulus information provided, is detected; and a third step in which other second stimulus information which has the same attribute as the detected attribute of the second stimulus information is provided to the person in need of nursing care.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
