To provide a caregiver support system which supports communication between a caregiver and a person to be nursed and an information providing method to a caregiver in the caregiver support system.
This caregiver support system is provided with an answer deriving means 1 composed of a device provided with an arithmetic operation processing function such as a computer, an operating part 2 which is provided with an inputting means operated by the caregiver and transmits operation input information by radio, communication equipment 3 which is connected to the means 1, receives a radio signal transmitted from the part 2, demodulates the operation input information and sends the operation input information to the means 1, a result outputting means 4 which is connected to the means 1 and outputting and displaying results derived by the means 1, a 1st database 5 for transmitting stored data to the means 1 in response to a request from the means 1 through a network 8 such as a LAN, a 2nd database 6 and an external interface 7.
