Abstract:
To provide a cargo handling device, a control device, a cargo handling method, a program and a storage medium that can improve efficiency of cargo handling operation.SOLUTION: A cargo handling device according to an embodiment includes a hand, a robot arm, a conveying device, a measurement device, and a control device. The hand holds articles. The robot arm moves the hand. The conveying device is aligned with the robot arm in a first direction and conveys the articles. The measurement device measures the position and size of the articles. The control device performs a first operation to move articles to the conveying device using the hand and the robot arm, and a second operation to convey the moved articles using the conveying device. The control device determines whether or not the robot arm interferes with the conveying device or a second article on the conveying device when performing the first operation on a first article, based on the result of measurement by the measurement device. The control device controls the start timing of the first operation according to the determination result of interference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
