Abstract:
To provide a cargo handling device capable of replacing a fuel tank in a relatively short time, and a method of controlling the cargo handling device.SOLUTION: In a control method of a cargo handling device 1 including an upper horizontal girder 2 and a hanging tool 5 suspended by a wire rope 4 from the upper horizontal girder 2, a fuel tank 11 storing fuel, a placing table 12 on which the fuel tank 11 is placed, and a power generation mechanism 13, which is connected to the fuel tank 11 and generates power by utilizing the fuel, are installed in the cargo handling device 1 in advance. The fuel tank 11 placed on the placing table 12 is removed by the hanging tool 5. Thereafter, another fuel tank 11 is placed on the placing table 12 by the hanging tool 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
