PURPOSE: To prevent exposure of a cargo to raindrops by covering a hoist, arranged on a crane girder and performing loading and unloading of a cargo, with a moving frame structure and covering the outer surface of the moving frame structure with a film-like member.
CONSTITUTION: In a bridge type crane 1 being a cargo handling equipment installed in, for example, a harbor facility, a moving frame structure 7 formed in a manner to surround the periphery of a hoist therewith during cargo handling work is arranged movably between a crane girder body part 5 and a rise and fall girder part 6. Further, first and second cover devices 11 and 21 for rainproofing with which the outer peripheral part of a traveling crane 4 and the moving frame 7 are covered are arranged on a traveling crane 4 and the moving frame 7. A first cover device 11 for rainproofing comprises a roof part film-like member 12 and a side film-like member 13. A second cover device 21 for rainproofing comprises a roof part film-like member 22, a side film-like member 23, an end part film-like member 24, and an auxiliary film-like member 25. This constitution causes execution of an unloading work even during rainy weather.
