Title:
CARGO OIL OUTFLOW PREVENTING DEVICE BY SUCTION SYSTEM FOR TANKER SHIP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003118682
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To minimize outflow of crude oil of a tanker ship due to grounding or a collision to almost nothing.
When a hull is fractured, a fractured portion is instantaneously limited by breaking of a tape like or wire like tension sensor arranged around a tank, cargo oil in the tank is sucked in a short time, and it is transferred to a vacuum compartment in another place or a large syringe (or, a vacuum tank). By this, the outflow of the cargo oil is minimized to almost nothing.
