PURPOSE: To dispense with the operational switching of an invasion sensor which is carried out while operating a switching operating means for the switching's exclusive use by an operator before and after a warehousing/delivery work of an automatic warehouse.

CONSTITUTION: In an automatic warehouse 1 provided with an operator side invasion sensor 14 arranged in a warehousing/delivery port 11 of a cargo receiving stand 4 and a crane side invasion sensor 15 arranged in a crane conveying port 12 of the cargo receiving stand 4, the device is provided with a warehousing button 17 being operated before an article is warehoused in the cargo receiving stand 4, a delivery button 18 being operated before the article is delivered from the cargo receiving stand 4 and a work finish button 19 being operated after a warehousing or delivery work is finished on the cargo receiving stand 4, and is also provided with a sensor driving circuit and a main controller to switch so that the invasion sensor 14 can be set unoperated according to an operation of the warehousing or delivery buttons 17 and 18, and the invasion sensor 15 can be operated, and the invasion sensor 14 can be operated according to the work finish button 19, and the invasion sensor 15 can be set unoperated.
