PURPOSE: To accurately transfer a cargo between the inside of a carrier car and each predetermined position of a cargo station by providing a stopper for stopping the cargo on a predetermined position, and a torque controller for detecting the torque variation of a motor generated when the cargo abuts on the stopper, on the carrier car and on the station respectively.
CONSTITUTION: The driving of an electric motor 14 is continuously carried out, and when one side surface of a container 30 abuts on stoppers 27, 27 of a carrier car 1, a torque larger than that at the time of transferring the container works on the motor 14, and simultaneously when it is detected by a torque regulation device 14-1, the power supply of the motor 14 is cut, so as to stop the motor 14. The container 30 is transferred to a predetermined position of the carrier car 1 under a condition that the container abuts on the stoppers 27, 27. When the container 30 loaded on the carrier car 1 is transferred to a station 40-1 of a next process, the carrier car 1 is moved to the station 40-1, and is stopped on the predetermined point through the same process.
