The cargo vehicle in which a wheel including a tire and hub is rotatably arrange in a vehicle body provides the electromagnetic brake. The electromagnetic brake comprises the armature (24) movably installed on the hub (25) to an axial direction, a coil which is fixed on the vehicle body while opposing to the armature and attracts the armature when electricity is turned on, a friction pad which is arranged on a face opposing to the armature of the coil and is capable of touching with the armature attracted by the coil, and an nonmetallic elastic body (32) urging the armature to a direction separating from the friction pad so as to arrange a gap between the armature and friction pad when electricity is turned on.
