PURPOSE: To obtain allowance for the shaking of a work-platform ship in a cargo- work installation in rivers or the like with high range of tide, by connecting a rotary bridge to a work-platform ship moored at the free end of the bridge by means of a rotary bearing device to allow relative movement between them when the work-platform is brought up and down.
CONSTITUTION: A river bank (a) is connected to a pier (c) by a fixed connecting bridge (b), and the pier (c) is connected to a work-platform ship (g) by a rotary bridge (e) via a central rotary bearing device (d) and a free end rotary bearing device (f). The central rotary bearing device (d) is constructed into a two-point support structure to allow horizontal and vertical movements of the free end part of the rotary bridge. Meanwhile, the free end rotary bearing device (f) is constructed into a one-point support structure to allow the relative movement between the work- platform ship (g) and the rotary bridge (e) when the work-platform ship (g) is brought up or down. That is, the bearing device (f) is constructed by arranging a slide beam 11 to be rotated round a shaft 12 on a turntable 10 provided on the work-platform ship via rollers 15 and bearing end parts of the rotary bridge (e) is supported on a slide bearing 13 on a beam 11 via a cross joint 14.
