The main body part of a bed is formed into a horizontal U- shape to form an empty space and this space is used as a wheelchair part to house a wheelchair. Usually, the space houses the armrest part and backrest part of the wheelchair and the seat surface of the wheelchair and the upper surface of the bed main body part is made the same in height and can be used as a planar bed as a whole. When a person to be cared is placed on the wheelchair, he can be placed on the wheelchair in a state sit down on the wheelchair part of the bed and the wheelchair part is drawn out of the main body part to be used as the wheelchair. This operation is performed inversely when the person to be cared is returned to the bed.
