Abstract:
To provide a carotenoid-containing composition that is less prone to degradation of carotenoid and provide cosmetics.SOLUTION: A carotenoid-containing composition contains carotenoid and at least one nonionic surfactant (A) selected from the group consisting of an alkylene oxide adduct (a1) with a C8-20 aliphatic diol having a C2-4 alkylene oxide 1-50 mol added thereto, an alkylene oxide adduct (a2) with a C10-20 aliphatic monoalcohol having a C2-4 alkylene oxide 2-100 mol added thereto, and a diesterified product (a3) of a polyoxyalkylene with a number average molecular weight of 2000-10000 and a C12-22 fatty acid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
