Abstract:
To provide a carpet being lightweight, excellent in sound absorbability, and resistant to slipping.
The carpet including a fibrous backing 206 formed on a rear surface of a fiber base material 205, wherein a woven fabric 409, having a cut looped warp yarn for connecting a surface and a rear surface of a warp-knit weft insertion woven fabric having the surface and the rear surface, is unified with the rear surface of the fibrous backing 206, and a cut end 410 of the looped warp yarn of the woven fabric 409 protrudes out on the rear surface of the backing 206 as an engaging part for engaging with a floor surface on which the carpet is laid.
