In this carpet, a backing layer provided on the rear of a carpet substrate is constituted of a resin composition containing (A) 5-80wt.% first resin component comprising an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer and (B) 5-50wt.% second resin component comprising a copolymer of α-olefins consisting essentially of ethylene. The resin composition contains preferably ≤80% inorganic filler such as calcium carbonate.
