To provide a carriage conveyance facility capable of simplifying a drive source to carry a carriage conveyed along a guidepath by an automated conveyor in carriage groups in a work line having different conveyance speed and conveyance force.

This carriage conveyance facility comprises a plurality of carriages A to E, a work floor 20 and the automated conveyor a. The work floor 20 includes a first work part 10 in which the plurality of carriages A to E are arranged in line and which has a line drive means 25 moving the carriages A to E forward as a whole; a second work part 13; and the loop-shaped guidepath 16. The automated conveyor a can be locked in the carriage, self-travels along the guidepath 16, and makes the carriage in the front side of the first work part 10 pass through the second work part 13 and move to the rear side of the first work part 10. In each of the carriages A to E , one end has one connection piece and the other end has the other connection piece engaged with/separated from one connection piece. In the plurality of carriages A to E, connection of one connection piece and the other connection piece is released in the front side of the first work part 10, and one connection piece is connected to the other connection piece in the rear side of the first work part 10.
