To provide a method and a device capable of extending a loading position and a delivery position for excavated sediment, suitable for a traction construction method by which plural elements are jointed and arranged, capable of rationally and easily jointing a belt conveyor, capable of safely, rationally and easily performing the jointing work and the belt conveyor withdrawal work after arranging the elements, dispensing with a transfer part of the excavated sediment, and capable of avoiding dropping and scattering of the excavated sediment.

Plural belt conveyors 8 and 10 are provided along a carriage direction so that a carriage passage can be extended. Conveyor frames 12 and 13 of the belt conveyors 8 and 10 are sequentially jointed to the downstream along the carriage direction. Belt rotating means 17 and 18 are provided in upstream and downstream end parts along the carriage direction. Conveyor belts 24 and 25 sequentially jointed through single or plural belt connection devices 26 are wound along the belt rotating means 17 and 18.
