The carriage conveyor is provided with receiving members 5A and 5B positioned above front and rear supporting members 4A and 4B supported by a strut 3 on a base 2 and having tools 6A and 6B for loading the objects to be conveyed W1 and W2, a connecting link 17 for interlocking parallel links 7 and 8 connecting the front supporting member 4A and the front receiving member 5A and the rear supporting member 4B and the rear receiving member 5B and rocking to front and rear directions in such a manner that the other is rocked to the opposite direction when one is rocked to the front side or the rear side, a rocking regulating means for regulating rocking of the parallel links 7 and 8 in a movement end where the front and the rear receiving members 5A and 5B are moved to an inner side or an outer side of the front and rear directions, and driving means 24-26 for driving the parallel links 7 and 8 to move the receiving members 5A and 5B from the one to the other of the movement end and installed in a prescribed position of a conveyance passage.
