Abstract:
To provide a carriage which is attached rotatably to the under part of a vehicle body of a railway vehicle, and which has a side beam formable by pipe materials.
A carriage frame FR constituting the carriage includes: a pair of side beams FR1 along the proceeding direction where a pair of wheel shafts WA are arranged leaving a prescribed interval; and a traverse beam 6 which connects the pair of side beams FR1 to each other, wherein the side beams FR1 have a first metal layer formed with a first pipe material and a second metal layer formed with a second pipe material on the inside of the first layer.
