To carry a carriage to a picking-out side even when one carriage exists at an upstream side by reciprocating a ratchet-type shuttle bar by a push-pull device, and engaging a carriage on which the reciprocating shuttle bar is positioned, with the ratchet to carry to the picking-out side.
A point of an expandable push-pull rod of a push-pull device mounted at a picking-out side is connected to a wedge part formed on a point of a shuttle bar, and the shuttle bar is reciprocated by the expansion and contraction of this push-pull rod. A ratchet 5 is mounted on an upper surface of the shuttle bar, and a locking piece 7 projects from a lower surface of a carriage, so that they are engaged to carry the carriage with the movement of the shuttle bar. The ratchet 5 is engaged with the locking piece 7 of the carriage only in the advance direction of the carriage, and the locking piece 7 of the carriage passes while pressing an upper surface of the ratchet 5 when it is returned to the reverse direction. Whereby the carriages can be surely picked out by the last one, and the stopping of the carriage on the way of a line can be prevented.
