A grooved wheel 31 rolling on a side wall projection 5 or a channel side wall on one side of a culture rack is rotatably and pivotally supported on an expandable leg 32, and a flat wheel 41 rolling on the top surface of a side wall projection 7 on the other side is also rotatably and pivotally supported on an expandable leg 42. The expandable legs 32, 42 are inserted into leg main bodies to adjust the lengths of the legs, respectively. A loading frame supported on the legs 30, 40 comprises lateral frames and side frames, and the width of the carriage 10 on the rack is adjusted by the control of the insertion length of the lateral frame into the other lateral frame.
