Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage capable of adjusting a parallelism between a recording face and a head face and a paper gap without adjusting a support position of a guide shaft and to adjust a parallelism between a dot forming element arrangement and a conveying direction.
SOLUTION: A recording head 2 is displaced in a direction perpendicular to the recording face with respect to the carriage 1 by the rotation of first bearing members 15, 16 and the recording head 2 is rotated with respect to the carriage 1 centering around a support shaft 10 by the rotation of a γ angle adjusting lever 12. As a result, the parallelism between the recording face and head face is adjusted. The position of the support shaft 10 supporting the recording head 2 is displaced in the conveying direction of a recording medium with respect to the carriage 1 by the rotation of a rotating member 14 and then the parallelism between the dot forming element arrangement and conveying direction is adjusted. When the support shaft 10 is rotated, the recording head 2 is vertically moved with respect to the carriage 1 by virtue of the eccentric structure of the support shaft, 10 so that the paper gap can be adjusted.
